Straight, coarse grain with prominent growth ring lines and a visible cathedral figure near the bottom fading into vertical grain.
Color & Appearance
Pale creamy tan-white sapwood with subtle light golden brown heartwood undertones. Luster is medium and wood warms slightly to yellow-gold over time with UV exposure.

Workability
Excellent workability with both hand and machine tools. Responds very well to steam bending, machines cleanly, and takes glues, stains, and finishes exceptionally well.
Finish Recommendations
Accepts clear polyurethane, lacquer, wiping oil, or shellac exceptionally well. Grain filler can be used before clear coating if a glass-smooth surface is desired.
Notable Features
