Straight to slightly irregular grain with prominent growth rings visible on the end grain and a mix of plain-sawn and quarter-sawn visual characteristics on the face.

Color & Appearance

Medium to dark brown heartwood with some weathered grayish-brown patina on the surface. Sapwood is lighter pale brown. Shows moderate natural luster when freshly cut or sanded.
